Sound familiar?

Running an effective intervention program takes so much more than just teaching.

What did they lose over the summer? Which kids am I working with? What are they actually behind on? Who works well together? Which lesson do I start with? How many copies do I need tonight? Where do my notes live for MTSS? Is any of it working? The parent conference is tomorrow and I have nothing to show. Can I move Marcus without redoing the whole schedule? My coordinator wants a progress report by Friday. Nobody told me she has an IEP. Is this the right tier for her? Where's last year's data for this kid? Am I supposed to log this in two places? Is 20 minutes going to be enough?

We know from experience, which is why we've built an impactful solution.

The shift

Spark is the all-in-one solution.

The diagnostic writes the plan. The plan builds the groups and the schedule. The sessions write the report. No one re-enters anything.

Assessments score themselves
A 15-minute diagnostic that stops when the student hits their limit - graded and interpreted for you.
Lessons land on the session
Groups, schedule and the next lesson are already there - scripted, research-backed, nothing to prep.
Reports build as the year goes
Minutes, growth and notes accumulate into the reports automatically - always current, ready to export.
Step 01  ·  Assess
The problem

You know they're behind. You don't know on what.

A grade-level test says a third grader performed poorly. It doesn't say which skill broke down - and the gap is usually below grade level, so it never gets checked.

What Spark does

An adaptive diagnostic that starts below grade level, climbs, and stops when the student hits their limit. It scores itself and points to exactly where each student struggles.

Scored automatically as they answer. The student just takes it - they see nothing.
Step 02  ·  Group
The problem

Grouping is a judgment call across a whole roster.

Who works with whom and at what level - it's tedious to plan, and hard to adjust throughout the year.

What Spark does

Once results are in, Spark compares every student and suggests groups by skill level. Take the recommendation, adjust by hand, or let Spark assign - and it keeps updating all year.

Step 03  ·  Plan
The problem

Planning is the struggle that keeps you up at night.

Instructors are obligated to rely on materials from multiple programs, make photocopies, and need to adapt materials to meet the needs of a wide range of learners.

What Spark does

Every lesson is already on the calendar, with each respective lesson plan attached - built off the diagnostic and adjusting to each student's independent learning profile.

Step 04  ·  Teach
The problem

Teaching and tracking are two jobs at once.

You run the lesson and try to hold onto who struggled - then grade the worksheets and write it all up after the session is over.

What Spark does

Scripted, research-backed lessons with built-in scaffolds, graded live as students work - so every session becomes a progress-monitoring point, and a reteach flag appears the moment someone needs it. A student gets immediate corrective feedback right then, not weeks later when the worksheet comes back.

Step 05  ·  Report
The problem

The report is a weekend project.

Someone asks for minutes, growth and evidence, and you go back through six months of your own handwriting - with the data in four places.

What Spark does

Every session you close is a line in the report. Student, school and district views are always current, tied to each student's tier of support, and export as a PDF or CSV the day you need it.

Who we serve

One platform: Three profiles.

Students
Instruction targeted to their exact skill gaps, with lessons that move them toward grade-level proficiency and data that tracks and measures growth. Consistent small-group sessions with the same instructor, so every session builds on the previous.
Instructors
Groups, schedules, and an explicit, systematic scope and sequence already built. No hunting for resources or piecing together lessons, so they show up fully present to teach, engage and extend.
School & District Leaders
Transparency, accountability and compliance. Tier II/III progress monitoring in one place: dosage, attendance, fidelity, and growth by school, grade, and student, so program decisions and spend are made from evidence and results.
Families

Because creating change is a group effort.

01
Why it matters
Families who understand what their child is learning reinforce it at home - more confidence, faster problem-solving, stronger growth.
02
What families get
A live workshop, take-home guides tied to the child's plan, and their growth report as a plain-English PDF.
03
How it fits your school
Braintrust runs it; you host. Aligned to Tier II / III. Bilingual. One evening or two sessions a year.
