Reading the My Students Table
My Students is your roster - a quick view of every student and group assigned to you. You can look at your students individually or by the groups they’re in. Both views update automatically as sessions are completed and activity work comes in.
Students and Groups Views
A toggle at the top right of the roster switches between two views:
- Students - one row per student. Use this when you want to see how a specific person is doing.
- Groups - one row per group. Use this to get a sense of where each of your groups stands.
What the Students View Shows
- Student. The student’s name.
- School. Only appears if you’re assigned to more than one school. You can filter by it.
- Grade. The student’s grade level.
- Instructors. Everyone assigned to that student, so you can see who you’re sharing them with. See Sharing a Student with Another Instructor.
- Curriculum. The subject area - for example, Reading or Math.
- Sessions Attended. How many sessions the student has attended out of the total scheduled.
- Last Session. The date of the most recent completed session, or a dash if none has happened yet.
- Last Skill Learned. The most recent skill the student completed. Updates when activity work is finished.
What the Groups View Shows
Group Name, School (again, only for multi-school Instructors), Students, Grade(s), Curriculum, Sessions Attended, Last Session, and Last Skill Learned. + Create Group sits at the top of this view - see How to Create a Group.
Searching and Sorting
A search box above the table narrows it as you type. Several columns can be sorted - School, Curriculum, Sessions Attended, Last Session, and Last Skill Learned. Click the header to sort, and click again to reverse the order. Sorting by Last Session is a quick way to spot students or groups you haven’t had a session with recently.
