Browsing the Lesson Library

The Curriculum Library is where you find the lessons, activities, and assessments Braintrust provides for your groups. You can browse the full curriculum, preview any lesson before you teach it, and assign what you need to a session. Any Instructor with assigned students can open the Library.

What You Can Do in the Library

  • Browse curriculum for both subjects - Reading and Math.
  • Preview a lesson and its resources before class.
  • Assign lessons, activities, and assessments to a group or session.

Instructors have view-and-assign access. Editing, publishing, and managing curriculum content are handled by Braintrust, so you won’t see options to change the lessons themselves. Some resources may also have printing or downloading limited to protect the curriculum.

How to Browse the Library

  1. Open the Library. Click Library in the left navigation.

  2. Choose the subject. Switch between Reading and Math. For Math, the curriculum is organized into Domains you can open to see the lessons inside each one. See Reading Lessons vs. Math Lessons for how the two are structured.

  3. Open a lesson. Click a lesson to see its resources, such as the lesson plan, teaching slides, and games.

Previewing and Assigning

To see exactly what a lesson contains before class, preview it - the full steps are in Previewing a Lesson. When you’re ready to put a lesson in front of your students, follow Assigning a Lesson.
