Confirming Whether a Session Happened

Each session on your daily schedule shows an Actions and Review area on the right. When a session has no status yet - because nothing was recorded for it in the platform - Spark asks you to confirm whether it actually happened. Confirming keeps your attendance and session records accurate and clears the prompt from your schedule.

When You’ll See This Prompt

On your dashboard schedule, a session that has no status set shows a Did this session happen? Confirm prompt in its Actions and Review area. This appears when the session time has passed but nothing was captured for it yet.

How to Confirm a Session

  1. Find the session on your schedule. Open your dashboard and locate the session on your daily schedule. See Your Daily Schedule.

  2. Click Confirm. Select Confirm next to “Did this session happen?” and indicate whether the session took place.

  3. Record the outcome. If the session happened, you can add your observations for it - see Adding Observations After a Session.

What Happens After You Confirm

Once a session is confirmed as having happened, the schedule no longer shows the status prompt for it. Instead, the Actions and Review area reflects your observations for that session:

  • Once you’ve added observations (strengths, challenges, notes), the prompt drops off the session entirely.
  • If you haven’t added observations yet, it shows Observations: Complete Now so you can finish them.
